Happy new year to whoever reads this news post! For the new year, first we were going out to a restaurant which no-one in my family informed me about. I didn't even know we were going to a restaurant until my mum said "Are you ready to go to the restaurant?" Of course, I wasn't happy at all and I really hate it when they do this to me. They go and tell me useless crap that I don't even care about, but don't tell me important things until the last fucking minute! Believe me, it's not the first time they've done this. There's been dozens of other times when they do this and I really hope they cut the bullshit really soon.

Besides that, the new year here was just...OK. It was really nothing special this time round. My parents decided to not hold a big new year party, which I don't mind. They've done the exact same thing for the last 10 years now, so it's understandable they decided to give it a miss this time. However, we were home when it was 2009 and it was just our family (i.e. mum, dad, my sister, her boyfriend, my grandparents, my two aunts and uncle) celebrating here.

I'm not sure how this year will be, but it won't feel as special as 2008 for me simply because I turned 18 last year and this year I'll be 19, which isn't a special age at all. However, there are special birthdays/anniversaries for my family and I'll be there to support them.

Entertainment-wise, this year doesn't seem to be as promising as 2008 so far. For movies, all I can name is the last Futurama movie. Nothing for music right now and for games, just Brutal Legend, Hogs of War 2 and Resident Evil 5. I'm guessing the year will pick up later since that's what happened with 2008.

One last thing. New Year's resolutions? I don't really like the idea of them anymore, but I have two. The first being to get a full-time job and the other to get my 100th flash done!

And that covers up everything on 2009 for me.

Well, I see your parents are full of surprises. Normally, my parents will decide they wanna go to a restuarant (every Saturday night) and they always tell me several hours ahead of time! But, my dad always changes his mind. So, the place we decided on that morning is really far away from where were going @ 6pm.
